September 3rd, 2010 / Gramado - Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil
This workshop is part of SIBGRAPI 2010
Interactive computer graphics (CG) have greatly evolved from its origins in the 60s to its widespread use, even in cell phones and other portable devices, and so have the tools available for the development of interactive CG applications. As a result, nowadays different communities apart from computer scientists and engineers use and create interactive CG systems, with different approaches and objectives.
The main goal of this workshop is to discuss and promote the exchange between different venues of application of interactive computer graphics. We propose to explore the multidisciplinary dialogues between languages, concepts and views, which arise from the creation of highly interactive imagery by computational means.
9h00 - 12h30: Short course on Processing as a tool for interactive computer graphics.
14h00 - 16h00: Round table on interactive computer graphics in arts and entertainment.
To attend to this workshop, you must register for SIBGRAPI 2010.
